After studying law at the University of Brussels, Shahrokh moved into the world of finance, firstly on Wall Street, as an institutional stockbroker specialising in the energy markets, and then later in the City of London, where he founded hedge fund Charles Street Capital. He later went on to found ed-tech business Web of Education, and communications technology business Netsite.

Shahrokh currently advises some of the world’s most private and prominent family offices and institutional investors on their ever-dynamic investment needs, particularly focussing on energy, commodities, emerging markets, and technology.
